A Baker's Dozen
Erie Canal Adventures
Book II
|
You are about to enter the year of 1850 in what was once the "wilderness" village of Rome, New York. Rome is rapidly approaching the time it will become a city, partly because of the Erie Canal which brought the world to its shores.
You will meet the Gleasons who have just come west on the canal from Amsterdam to take possession of their new farm. Minnie The Mule will join the Gleasons on their farm...along with many others.

"Rose hurried forward to be hugged with enthusiasm by her tall brother, and turned to kiss Jane's cheek as Michael shook hands with his brother-in-law."
